 Stadium Drive's library is a child centered place, enriched with good literature and emerging technologies.The technology and library program creates a supportive, responsive environment for staff and students with open access to resources and technologies. Our goals are to cultivate a love of reading, encourage students to become lifelong learners and to ensure that all students become effective users of information.

Library General Information

Students attend weekly. During this time they explore various elements of technology and practice library skills. Additional time using technology with grade level standards is spent in collaboration with classroom teachers throughout the school year. In addition to scheduled class time, students are welcome to indepentely visit the library.


    
Checkout Policy

How many books may I check out at a time?
Kindergarten = 1 book
1st  = 1 book
2nd = 2 items
3rd = 2 items
4th = 2 items
5th = 2 items
*items include books, magazines, and (playaways 3rd-5th only).  Additional items are allowed for reports or projects.
 

How long may I keep the items I check out?
All items are checked out for 5 school days.
To renew an item just bring it to the media center and re-check it out.

What happens if I have an overdue or lost item?
There are no fees for overdue items.  However, you may not be able to check out more items until your overdues are returned.  Fees will be charged for lost or damaged items so they may be replaced.
