Distinguished Service Award J Potter

Jill Potter, Stadium Drive kindergarten interventionist, selected as distinguished service award winner for the Northeast Quadrant in the County. This award, established in 1990, recognizes the many contributions support persons make in the learning community in Oakland County. Jill will receive a $500 cash award from the Oakland Schools Education Foundation and framed certificate of recognition which will be presented at our June 13th Board of Education meeting.   MORE INFO

Day Camp Registration Open

Community Education is happy to announce that camp registration is now open for our summer day camps.  We offer two day camp programs for the summer:  Camp Wanna Have Fun is for students who will be entering grades 1 through 5 in the Fall of 2017; Camp ExpLOrion is for students who will be entering grades 6 through 8 in the Fall of 2017.  Both programs are housed at the CERC.  Online registration is NOT available for these camps.  To register please click on the links below to download the registration packet that will need to be printed and returned to the Community Education Office.  A registration packet is needed for each child.  If you have any questions, please email lori.mcgraw@lok12.org

District moving forward with planning for first building and site sinking fund projects School parking lot paving and concrete enhancements

Planning for the first wave of building improvements to be made with funds from the successful passage of the building and site sinking fund is well underway.  The work, to be launched this spring, includes partial roof replacements, paving and concrete improvements, HVAC systems, new boilers, new chillers, pool control systems and other energy efficiency upgrades to a number of buildings.  CLICK HERE for more details.
