Lake Orion Dragon Guided Afterschool Program (GAP)

Mission:

The mission of the Dragon Guided Activities Program (Dragon GAP) is to provide an extensive, fun, positive, and substance free after school leisure and recreation activities program for all Lake Orion Community School students K-12. The program seeks to provide "something for everyone".

Below is the list of GAP activities offered at Oakview and a printable permission slip for each.


Students at Oakview, Scripps, and Waldon Middle Schools, and Lake Orion High School will have a one-time $50 GAP Fee this school year. A GAP Hardship Fee is in place for those families who may be in need. Free or reduced lunch qualifiers can contact LOCS Food Services at mernst@lakeorion.k12.mi.us in order to qualify for and request the GAP Hardship Fee. Students will be able to participate in as many GAP activities as they wish after paying this fee.

Check out the Oakview GAP PaySchools website for a convenient way to pay student GAP fees online (no extra charge to pay online). Please fill out the GAP Fee Contract for all forms of payment (Payschools, check or cash) and return the completed form to Oakview's Main Office.
