2011-2012 Budget Development Process
School funding is being faced with what many in the media are calling a "budget cliff". Lake Orion Community Schools has positioned itself to make responsible decisions, while creating the most stable environment possible for our students, staff and community. With that being said, we fully anticipate that school funding will be established at a permanently reduced rate. Because of that, we need to review our operations and make intentional, measured, systemic changes.
