Registration open for LOCS Summer Skills Sharpener for incoming K through 5th graders! LOCS Summer Skills Sharpener Program

Lake Orion Community Schools' Summer Skills Sharpener is for incoming kindergartners through incoming fifth grade students and is designed to limit summer learning loss.  Students will learn and play through weekly themes that are an extension of the curriculum from their recently completed grade. "Helping Your Child Manage Change" Resources Happy Kids

In an effort to assist parents with the transition of their children to new schools next year, Lake Orion's elementary family school coordinators and middle school counselors held a district- wide presentation on February 22 at the high school called “Helping Your Child Manage Change”. Lake Orion school building start and dismissal times for 2017-18 released Lake Orion Community Schools

The start and dismissal times for Lake Orion's elementary schools, middle schools, high school and Learning Options program for 2017-18 have been released.  CLICK HERE for the full-day and half-day schedules for each building.  SACC (latchkey) will open to students at 6:30 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. 

 


District transition plan details available; parents encouraged to attend PTO meetings Lake Orion Community Schools
A number of events are being planned to support families with the transition activities occurring in our district over the next several months.
