Applying for jobs online at Lake Orion Community Schools

We are pleased you are considering employment with Lake Orion Community Schools. Lake Orion is a member of the Oakland Human Resources Consortium (OHRC), along with 20 other Oakland County Districts. If you are interested in applying for employment, you must complete the online application via Oakland Consortium-Lake Orion. Once you apply for a vacant position by submitting your online application, it will be available for immediate review by our administrative staff.

Before beginning the application process, please be prepared to upload the required supporting documents. An application is not considered complete until your resume, transcripts, certificates, letters of recommendation, and student teacher evaluations (if applicable and recent) have been received.

If you submitted an online application on our web site prior to January 23, 2012, you will need to complete another application through the OHRC to be considered for future vacancies. However, if you have previously submitted an application to any OHRC district or any other district using the Aspex (formerly Applitrack) software, you will be able to recall previous applications and uploaded documents on file with the Aspex system. This option will be presented automatically once you begin your new application.

Please do not mail or bring copies of your application materials to the district or any school office unless specifically requested. The district no longer retains or utilizes paper documents in the initial screening process and unsolicited materials will not be retained.

Lake Orion Community Schools welcomes your interest in guest/substitute opportunities. All guest/substitute services are contracted through the District's sub contracting company, PESG.  Guest/substitute teachers are asked to contact PESG directly to complete the enrollment process.
