Distinguished Service Award J Potter

Jill Potter, Stadium Drive kindergarten interventionist, selected as distinguished service award winner for the Northeast Quadrant in the County. This award, established in 1990, recognizes the many contributions support persons make in the learning community in Oakland County. Jill will receive a $500 cash award from the Oakland Schools Education Foundation and framed certificate of recognition which will be presented at our June 13th Board of Education meeting.   MORE INFO

Chasing Optimism in the Face of Challenges! Optimist International

Optimist International is conducting its annual student writing contest, open to young people in elementary, middle and high school under the age of 18. The contest is designed to give students room to develop their own views around a central idea. In addition to developing skills for written expression, participants also have the opportunity to win a college scholarship. This year’s topic is “Chasing Optimism in the Face of Challenges”.
