LOHS donates $5,000 to Cell Phones for Soldiers

Thanks to strong student participation and the generosity of local businesses, Lake Orion High School's "Cell Out for Soldiers" in January raised a total of $5,000 for the national Cell Phones for Soldiers charitable organization. This group provides phones and calling cards to soldiers overseas so they can stay in-touch with their loved ones back home. Earlier this month, the school's Leadership Workshop class that managed the Cell Out presented a symbolic check to Principal Steve Hawley and the high school staff to thank them for their support.
