Lake Orion Thespians also competed in the Technical Theatre Olympics. The teams competed in multiple events having two students earn individual championships. LaiLeAnna Mireles won the championship for quick changes and Tyler Tyson won for best overall technician. The team went on to place first overall winning hundreds of dollars’ worth of lighting equipment for the troupe as well as bragging rights until next year.

Senior Grant Potter auditioned in front of over a dozen colleges from across the state in musical theater and acting, and he was offered a $50,000 scholarship from Rochester College.

We could not be more proud of the troupe. Not only did they do extremely well in every event in which they participated, but they were shining examples of what it means to be an LO Dragon all weekend.

Great work, Thespian Troupe 2898!
