REMINDER: 2017-18 developmental kindergarten and full-day kindergarten registration tomorrow, March 23, at CERC Enrollment Office! Kindergarten Registration

Families of the District's young learners are reminded that registration day for developmental kindergarten and full-day kindergarten for the 2017-18 school year is on Thursday, March 23, at the CERC Enrollment Office, Room 109, 455 E. Scripps Road, Lake Orion.  Hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  CLICK HERE for more information.

LO Schools-of-Choice application period approaching; open houses scheduled for March 21 LO Logo

Lake Orion Community Schools will be accepting applications for out-of-district students in kindergarten through eighth grades, as well as Learning Options High School, for the 2017-18 school year from April 10 through May 9, 2017.  Elementary and middle school open house events for Schools-of-Choice families are scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 21, at Orion Oaks Elementary, 6 p.m., and Waldon Middle School, 7 p.m.  For more information, CLICK HERE.

The District is excited to announce that Lake Orion Schools will be offering summer school for all levels (K-12). CLICK HERE for "save the date" information when summer school will run at each level.  More information will come after spring break with specific class/course information. 

"Helping Your Child Manage Change" Resources Happy Kids

In an effort to assist parents with the transition of their children to new schools next year, Lake Orion's elementary family school coordinators and middle school counselors held a district- wide presentation on February 22 at the high school called “Helping Your Child Manage Change”. Lake Orion Community Schools today announced the recipients of its 2017 Teacher-of-the-Year Awards, representing the District's elementary, middle school and high school programs. Lake Orion school building start and dismissal times for 2017-18 released Lake Orion Community Schools

The start and dismissal times for Lake Orion's elementary schools, middle schools, high school and Learning Options program for 2017-18 have been released.  CLICK HERE for the full-day and half-day schedules for each building.  SACC (latchkey) will open to students at 6:30 a.m. and close at 6 p.m.

A number of events are being planned to support families with the transition activities occurring in our district over the next several months.
